Upcoming Webinars
Friday June 5th 2020 - 76th Anniversary Commemoration of D-Day
6th June 2020 marks the 76th anniversary of The D-Day Landings – one of the most remarkable Allied wartime operations and one which was fundamental in the resulting Allied victory over the Axis Alliance. This year, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, schools that have signed up will be able to send a link to parents, for children to be able to tune in LIVE in the comfort of their own homes. In addition, I will also be providing children with a worksheet which they can work through during the webinar to help children embed the knowledge and also to help sustain their concentration. The webinar will include: the run-up to D-Day; the Allied deceptions; the execution of D-Day; the phenomenal coincidences and events that took place; the result. The presentation is highly-engaging and incredibly informative. The D-Day webinar last year received great feedback from teachers and children alike! This year, the webinar is set to be even better! Afterwards, there will be a 30-minute Q&A session where schools and parents can submit the children's questions to me and they will receive a personal 'shout out!'
